If you are in Blaine, why not skip across the border in Vancouver? AB & B-kits .... or North Van .....
Or even better ... Hope .... and Harrison Hot Springs ....
Ok .. WA side of the border .... There should be some cool spots in Birch Bay, if you want nearby.
In Bellingham, the Hampton Inn is very nice, lots of amenities and on the other side of the street a wonderful Greek restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, a rare luxury, but not the price is! Food and service is excellent. Then take in a concert, live, or live music somewhere in B'ham ... Evacuation plan, if you see something that is happening.
